Demonic dog baring teeth and growling just happy to see you, says owner

He’s more afraid of you than you are of him

Yesterday morning, I was walking to my bus stop, when I heard a dog growling across the street. It was still dark outside and I had just turned around a corner, so I didn’t think it was reacting to me, but dogs do tend to get aggressive towards me, so I was already mentally preparing to be lunged at out of the dark.

Anyways, the dog+owner stopped and the dog took a wee. I guess, it smelled a competing dog…

My family got our dog as a very young puppy, and at the time we had a cat who purred like a lawnmower

So our (very friendly and gentle) dog now growls loudly whenever being pet XD
