Believe it or not, I was wandering through my ‘unread’ stack the other day, and realised that Jason Lutes’ acclaimed Berlin series was still under-read by myself. Right so…

Anyway, as I’ve been reading them (and I’m just on issue #2 so far), I’m getting the sense that there’s much commentary there upon the hows & whys of fascism getting normalised upon a people, amongst other turmoils of the times, late 20’s Germany.

I have more stuff upon Lutes’ Berlin to show y’all soon, and even the results of a small project to help shade these extreme B&W images to see how that might look, oof… But, let’s see.
