not sure it’s creative, but I created a weekly cleaning schedule that groups labor by a “theme” for each day, so instead of seeing each day of the week as when precisely certain tasks are done, instead Wednesdays are a day to do some cleaning in the bathrooms. That way it’s easy to remember (Wednesday = bathroom), and I don’t feel as overwhelmed by approaching it as if every single cleaning task has to be done every single Wednesday, instead I just let myself pick and choose what I want to clean in the bathroom, and on subsequent weeks I can alternate or change out what in the bathroom is cleaned (e.g. last week the shower was cleaned so this week I’ll focus on the toilet).
I’m writing loads of applications for new jobs. I’ve not done this for nearly 20 years so holy shit am I ever out of practice! Fuck I’ve had to get creative working out wtf they want me to say and saying it in the right word count and format
I feel you on this. I went to an employment agency to get help and all the weird reasons to write a resume a certain way are completely unintuitive. Good luck out there.
